(MARYDON) Mary and Don McCaul who introduced us to dog showing and during the time we knew them gave us life long advice about the breed. They also gave us Ch Marydon Jet Supreme who became a very special dog. Sadly they are no longer with us but have left a legacy that is Marydon Westies.
Sue Stewart now the owner of (Marydon) Sue was Mary and Don's handler back in the 80's when we first met her and she and her family have become life long friends. Over the years Sue has given us support, advice and has even shown our dogs for us with great success. We were also lucky enough to have been able to handle some of Sue's top winning dogs. One we will never forget is Ch Whitebriar Jo Demagio who we took to Best in Group at Brisbane Royal in 2003.
(HAWESWALTON) Sue and Ken Hawes in the UK gave us our first import Ch Haweswalton Airmail who went to the top of the breed in the late 80's and early 90's. We were lucky enough to meet them in 1986 when we took our first visit to Crufts and spent some time staying with them and learning so much about the breed, grooming, presentation and handling. We will also never forget the privlage of meeting one of the greats of the breed in the UK Eng Ch Haweswalton Houdini. We can never thank Sue and Ken enough for their support and hospitality over the years.
(WHITEBRIAR) Maureen Murphy as you can see from our site has given us some of the best dogs one could ask for and her support and advice over the years has been invaluable. She continues to produce dogs of correct type and quality and we thank her for the opportunity to have been able to own and handle some of them.
(HILLSTED) Kirsten and John Fox gave us our second UK import Ch Hilsted Schmiechel a dog with such great ring presence that always caught the judges eye. He has also proven to be a great sire with many champions to his name including Grd Ch Tarrilli Drummer Boy. Kirsten and John have given us so much support and advice from afar and we cannot thank them enough.
(OLAC) Derek and Joan Tattersall, Derek judged the West Highland White Terrier Club of Victoria show in the 90's and he and Joan became house guest after the judging for a week. They were such great company and told so many stories about the breed in the UK and again offered advice on the breed. We have continued to be good friends and caught up with them again the last time they visited Australia.
(GLENVEAGH) Modwena Johnson also judged the West Highland White Terriec Club of Victoria show and came to visit after judging. We have caught up with her several times since when visiting Crufts.
